Central Heating "Insurance": Serviceplan

We offer an exclusive central heating "insurance"-type   agreement, Serviceplan, which provides comprehensive central heating cover, including boiler breakdown cover. Serviceplan is a central heating maintenance agreement and is not an insured/FSA product.

Central heating "insurance" will protect you against unnecessary boiler and central heating malfunctions and the expense that they can bring. Serviceplan provides boiler breakdown cover and central heating cover for all year round peace of mind.

We provide three levels of central heating "insurance", including boiler breakdown cover and central heating cover to protect you from costly breakdowns and repairs:

  • Silver
  • Gold
  • Platinum

Although expansion plans are in place, our central heating "insurance" product, Serviceplan, is only currently available to homeowners in Cheshire, Wirral, Shropshire, Manchester, Stockport, Warrington, Chester, North Wales, Birmingham, Wolverhampton and Walsall. Benefits of Breakdown Cover for Gas Central Heating

The level of "insurance" cover will be very different for different policies, they will not all offer the same benefits, however, there are a number of scenarios which should be considered by the home owner or landlord.

  • Parts for boilers are quite expensive and fitting the parts may take a few hours.
  • If your boiler is over 12 years old you may be advised to replace it.
  • A boiler should be serviced annually, so does your boiler cover provide an annual service plan
