Central Heating Services

We undertake the servicing, repairs and replacement of all heating types including gas central heating, oil fired central heating, and energy efficient central heating systems for homeowners within the North West of England, the Midlands and North Wales.

On average we undertake over 9,000 boiler services per year for private homeowners and receive thousands of emergency breakdowns calls.

Central heating and boiler servicing

Getting your boiler and gas appliances serviced regularly is essential. Gas boilers and other gas appliances should be serviced annually by a Gas Safe registered gas engineer. Oil fired central heating systems should also be serviced annually by an OFTEC registered heating engineer. We offer fixed boiler servicing rates and also a "boiler insurance" product called Serviceplan, which in addition to protecting your boiler from breakdowns includes customary boiler servicing.

Central heating repairs / central heating maintenance

Problem boiler? We can help. If you are experiencing problems with your central heating system or you suspect your boiler is not working correctly or it has broken down we can help you. Homeowners often contact us with problems associated with their boiler, heating systems, radiators, pump, water tanks, thermostat, cylinders and more …

We can undertake minor central heating repairs and also supply and fit replacement parts where needed.

We offer two repairs rates: one fixed and one variable, visit the central heating repairs area for further information.

Central heating installation and appliance replacement

PH Jones has over 45 years experience installing and replacing central heating systems. If you are considering replacing your boiler and central heating system we will provide you with a non-obligatory assessment and quote.

We can also provide you with advice about switching to a condensing boiler or a renewable source of energy along with an energy usage assessment of your home.

Following completion of your central heating quote, it will then be valid for a period of 3 months. If you decide to proceed with your central heating installation we will require you to pay 50% of the cost of the installation upfront (which is just to cover the costs of buying the equipment and parts for the new heating system). The remaining 50% will then be due following satisfactory installation.

Supply of new heating systems

We can supply and fit all types of heating systems from each manufacturer including Worcester Bosch, Potterton, Ideal, Vaillant etc.

All of our central heating systems come with a 1 year installation guarantee and a 2 or 3 year warranty provided by the manufacturer (dependent on choice of heating system).
