Environmental Aims

Broadly, our environmental objectives are to ensure that we conduct our operations with due consideration to sustainability and the limited use of natural resources, as well as complying with all legal requirements to prevent damage to the environment.

We take positive action to help minimise the short and long term environmental impact of our operations, as well as working towards environmental improvement, including:

• Recycling and reusing materials, including environmental improvement programmes for recycling and waste minimisation
• Efficient travel, including fuel efficient vehicles, speed limiters, and electronic vehicle tracking systems , enabling us to select our nearest engineer to each activity. This system ensures not only a reduction in mileage and carbon emissions, but also provides a speedier and more efficient service
• Waste disposal  and ensuring all substances which cannot be recycled are disposed of responsibly and stored correctly until they are removed
• Promotion of energy efficient technologies and products
• Energy efficiency, energy consumption, and renewable energy advice
• Collaboration with local supply chain partners wherever possible, tying into our commitment to ethical sourcing.
