PH Jones announces National Best Practice Conference
Heating and property repairs contractor, PH Jones is leading the way by hosting an exclusive Best Practice Conference for their clients on the 12th November 2008.
In association with Cheltenham Borough Homes and Wolseley, the conference will determine best practice within the social housing sector.
The event is being held exclusively for PH Jones’ clients which includes over 50 Registered Social Landlords across England, Wales and Scotland.
Clients have been invited to participate in workshops which include equality and diversity, resident participation and partnering in the public sector.
Tim Pollard of Wolseley UK will also be outlining sustainable construction principles, including renewable and low carbon heating, which will include a guided tour of the Wolseley flagship sustainable building centre where the Conference is being held.
PH Jones would like to thank their co-hosts Cheltenham Borough Homes and Wolseley UK and guest speakers Echelon Consulting, Housemark and Onstream.
PH Jones Ltd has identified the importance of sharing best practice through partnering with Registered Social Landlords over the past decade, where a greater degree of communication and collaboration has heightened the success of projects including annual gas safety checks and heating repair contracts.
Social Housing Director Derek Corbishley commented:
“The Conference is the ideal platform to bring together social housing providers to review and debate best practice principles. Furthermore we are providing essential joint training in relation to partnering best practice and equality and diversity.
The event will also help everyone to understand the priorities and pressures faced across the sector including identifying opportunities to maximise value for money.”
